The arrest of Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe, who was incarcerated in Prague in the Czech Republic and charged with manslaughter stemming back to a 2010 incident where a fan named Daniel N. died from injuries he sustained after having some sort of altercation with Blythe, the details of which are not abundantly clear, has far-reaching effects already. It has musicians like Anthrax‘s Scott Ian and Testament‘s Alex Skolnick worrying about the implications of touring Europe.

Ian tweeted with Skolnick about fans needing to accept responsibility for their actions, coming to the support of Blythe. While expressing sadness over the fact that someone died, Ian pointed out that the repercussions of the fan’s death and Blythe’s arrest could impact the already-stringent protocol of shows in Europe.

Ian’s tweets appear to have been removed from his Twitter feed, but you can see them here.

Skolnick shared Ian’s tweet about fearing how this situation will impact issues of security when it comes to playing Europe. It’s certainly something that might make acts think twice about where they tour and how they interact with fans.

See Skolnick’s tweet below.
