2nd Annual American Cancer Society Bark for Life Relay is March 1st in Abilene
The 2nd annual Bark for Life Relay from the American Cancer Society (ACS) is scheduled for March 1st at Nelson Park in Abilene. Unlike the 12-hour ‘Relay for Life,’ the Bark for Life will only go from 9am until 1pm. This fundraiser promises to be a fun and festive event complete with a survivor lap, demonstrations, contests, and games. Bark for Life is a noncompetitive walking event for dogs and their owners. This is a fundraiser and awareness event for the American Cancer Society.

With your first paid entry to the ‘Bark for Life’ relay event, you’ll receive a t-shirt for you and a bandana for you pet. Each additional pet entered will receive a bandana. There will be a talent show, costume contest, races, canine demonstrations, and a cancer survivors lap. Vendor booths will be available for food and beverages plus vendor booths for your dogs too.
