With three albums under their belt, Alter Bridge celebrate one of the largest shows of their career with the upcoming release of a DVD documenting their Wembley Arena concert in London earlier this year.

There are two versions of the live concert that will be available. The 2D version also comes with a live CD and will be released in late March; it will also air on TV all over the world in February. You can also pick up the 3D version, which is due out in the summer of 2012.

‘Live at Wembley’ was directed by Daniel E. Catullo III, who has worked with Alter Bridge numerous times, including their “Live From Amsterdam’ DVD, plus the band’s videos for their singles ‘One By One’,’ Isolation’ and more. The new DVD offers a wide range of tracks off of all three of their studio albums.

This DVD should hold Alter Bridge fans over for a while since three of the band’s four members will be devoting most of their time to Creed next year. Drummer Scott Phillips told Stereoboard “[Alter Bridge will] certainly be visible next year, but it’ll be on various projects and then probably 2013 will be the reunion there of Alter Bridge and we’ll diligently get to work on a new record and tour as soon as we can.”

In addition, guitarist Mark Tremonti is also gearing up to release his first solo record, while singer Myles Kennedy is back in the studio to record vocals for Slash’s upcoming album.

If you’ve ever seen Alter Bridge live, then you know that this DVD is one to have for any fan.
