After a rumor floated around a couple of weeks ago that AC/DC would be performing at this year's Grammy Awards, that news has now officially been confirmed.

According to Grammy.com, AC/DC will rock the 57th Grammy Awards on Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The veteran rock band joins pop icon Madonna, country star Eric Church, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and pop singer Ariana Grande as the first batch of performers to be announced for the prestigious music ceremony.

AC/DC did not receive any Grammy nominations, as their 'Rock or Bust' album and singles came out too late in 2014 for consideration in this year's awards. However, the band has a big 2015 ahead of them, as they plan a world tour in support of the disc, including a headlining slot on both weekends of this year's Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., in April.

The 2015 Grammy Awards will air live Feb. 8 on CBS.
