Abilenian’s Book ‘Miracles From Heaven’ Set to Hit the Big Screen

Miracles From Heaven is a movie based on the true story of my high school friend Christy Beam's life. The movie focuses on her daughter, Annabel, and her miraculous journey to complete healing.

Do I believe in miracles? Yes! This story is so amazing, you will too. I've been skeptical of other similar stories I've read but I know this one and can tell you there is no other answer; it is a true miracle.

Annabel had long suffered from a digestive disorder, spending more time in doctor's offices and hospitals than any little girl should. The family was told their was no cure for her disease, which I honestly can't pronounce much less spell. She would basically have to live with chronic pain the rest of her life.

I'm going to ask you read the book, by the same title, to get the full story but the short version is this. Annabel and her sisters were playing on a big tree near their house when the branch began to break. Annabel fell 30 ft down into the hollow tree trunk. It took hours for firefighters to rescue her and care flight her to the hospital for tests. Although she had a few bumps, bruises and scratches, she was not badly injured.

Annabel would later tell her mom she spoke with God, while in the tree awaiting rescue, and that he told her everything would be fine. EVERYTHING. What came in the months following was the fact that Annabel was no longer sick, her digestive issues were gone. Belief, prayers, faith, determination, love; they are all a part of this family's story.

The full movie will be released March 18,2016.
