Last week, Dallas Cowboys nose tackle, Jay Ratliff, was arrested and charged with DWI.  This was only a few months after his backup nose tackle, Josh Brent was arrested for involuntary manslaughter after killing a teammate while driving drunk.  Well, in the long history of the Cowboys, many players, and even coaches (see Barry Switzer) have gotten into trouble.  So, I asked you who you thought would be the next Dallas Cowboys player to get into trouble.  Your answer?  Dez Bryant.

Dez got 35% of the votes followed by Cowboys defensive back, Morris Claiborne with 21% of the votes.  Mike Jenkins and Anthony Spencer both tied with 14% of the votes.  You can check out the complete breakdown of the votes here.

It's not really much of a surprise that Dez was chosen as the next player based on his off the field issues in the past.  However, it is worth noting that, other than his issues with his Mom earlier in 2012, Bryant has pretty much been flying below the radar, plus, his game improved big time toward the end of this last season.  He ended his season having 88 catches for 1,311 yards and 12 touchdowns.  But, in his last 7 games alone, he had 46 for 808 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Still, he can't shake his troubled off the field past - and neither can the Dallas Cowboys.  In fact, combined troubled Cowboys have a rap sheet long enough to stretch across a football field - or beyond.

Besides Dez, Michael Irvin, Josh Brent, Jay Ratliff, Nate Newton, Dwayne Goodrich, Thomoas 'Hollywood' Henderson, Harvey Martin, Erik Williams, Terry Glen, and Joey Galloway are all part of a growing list of Cowboy's players that have gotten in trouble with the law at one time or another.

It's not just the Cowboys, though - or just NFL, for that matter.  Athletes from the NBA, NHL and MLB continue to get in trouble, fined, then back on the field to collect their millions. And, it's just only a matter of time before the next big named player gets in trouble with the law.

You might also be surprised to know that the Cowboys are not the team with the most arrests.  That dubious distinction goes to...the Minnesota Vikings?

So, at least the Cowboys are not the worst troubled team.

Anyway, Abilene says Dez will be next, but which athlete, no matter what sport, do  you think will get in trouble with the law next?  Like I said, it's only a matter of time.
