Abilene Genghis Grill to Donate a Portion of Sales to the ‘No Kid Hungry’ Campaign
The ‘No Kid Hungry’ campaign is a national effort to provide kids with healthy food to eat. Abilene Genghis Grill is giving you a chance to help the cause, by contributing a portion of their sales to the No Kid Hungry campaign.
Big Country Homepage tells us that through Sunday, September 14th, the Genghis Grill will donate $1 for every Chef Made Bowl to ‘No Kid Hungry’. The restaurant now offers four of these meals that you order from your table, rather than create your own bowl by going through the ingredients line.
According to No Hungry Kid, 1 in 5 kids in the U.S. will face hunger. $1.00 can feed a child up to ten healthy meals through school breakfast, summer meals and other programs. So it goes without saying that every dollar counts.
