Abilene Area Cosplay Feature of the Week

Cosplay, short for costume play, is a performance art where guys and gals will wear costumes and accessories for a cartoon, comic book or any number of different characters. Each week, we'll bring you the best in Abilene area cosplay on our website. This week, we feature the cosplay work of Sierra Moon.

Sierra, from Breckenridge, Texas, has only been cosplaying since 2007, but has loved costumes since she was very young. Though it's hard for her to pick just one, her favorite character is Grell Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji.

Sierra talks about the art of cosplay:

"It takes time and effort and an artistic eye to match the character perfectly. Also you have to act the part out as well."
