As far as awards shows go, the Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards have done a pretty solid job of creating an interesting lineup of acts over the last few years to entertain in the midst of dishing out honors. This year's bill just got a little more rocking as well, with A Day to Remember signing on to headline the ceremony.

A Day to Remember issued the one-off single "Paranoia" earlier this spring and the adrenaline-fueled rocker arrived just in time for the band to provide its concert premiere at their own Self Help Festival. The band has a big summer ahead of them, signing on to support Blink-182 on tour. Their appearance at the Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards comes four days before July 22 start of their tour with Blink.

In addition, the APMA's have a performance lineup that includes Of Mice & Men, Papa Roach, Babymetal, Beartooth, Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, Issues, The Maine, Mayday Parade and a special performance by Underoath's Spencer Chamberlain and Aaron Gillespie. More performers are expected to be announced prior to the July 18 ceremony.

This year's APMA's will be hosted by All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat and the show will broadcast live from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets for the ceremony are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
