73% of Abilene Believe in Aliens and UFO’s

A while back, something strange happened while I was out doing a live broadcast which made me think about the existence of aliens and UFO's.  Well, apparently, I'm not the only one who has thought about this.  In fact, 73% of Abilene believe in aliens and UFO's. That's a pretty overwhelming number.  But, it's not just here in Abilene.  In fact, according to ABC, National Geographic recently conducted a poll where 36%, or 1/3, of Americans believe that UFO's exist. National Geographic even has a 'site tracker' on their website to go with a show that they air called "Chasing UFO's" to help those that have seen something out of the ordinary.

Could it be Hollywood's fault?  With so many movies about alien's and UFO's, some people literally take those movies to heart even though they are fictional movies.

What about the military?  Area 51 is notorious for having strange things in the air around the base and some people have said they think they have aliens on base that they perform experiments on.  Many people in and around Abilene have reported seeing strange things in the air numerous times.  Most of the time an air base is near.

Whatever the case may be, strange things occur all the time.  But, are they from aliens and UFO's?  Who really knows?
