Negative 263 reunited, with their original lineup,  to blow the roof off of the Lucky Mule Saloon for the Rock 108 Jingle Bell Jam. Along with Overscene, from Dallas, and local rockers 52 Week Hi, the Jingle Bell Jam was a show that will be talked about for a long time and can only really be described in two words - bad ass!

52 Week Hi kicked things off with their killer style of Reggae meets Blues Rock  and definitely warmed the crowd up.  For some reason, I felt like I had the munchies after their set.  Great live band that anyone with a hankering for some live music in Abilene needs to go check out.

Overscene was up next and,  having played the P.O.D. show in August, I knew these guys wouldn't disappoint - and they didn't.  From their latest song "Off The Wagon", to their cover of Garth Brook's song, "The Thunder Rolls", they had everybody throwing the horns up.

The final band of the night was the reunited Negative 263.  Back with their original lineup, they took command of the stage and showed Abilene they have not lost a step.  The crowd was as intense as any other show I've seen and they just simply killed it!  From the moment they stepped on stage, Negative 263's energy and intense metal sounds blasted the ears of many happy fans.

Great show, great crowd - just a bad ass show!

Thanks to The Lucky Mule Salloon, Mr Nice Guys, ACS Heating and Air, Bad Boy Bail Bonds and most importantly, you guys for coming out to support the live rock.  More to come, we promise you!

In the meantime, check out a recap of the show in pictures.  Enjoy.
